2. Data we process

VVStreamer is a self-hosted video platform. To run the service we process:

• Account data — first and last name, e-mail address, username and a securely hashed password when you register.
• Content you provide — uploaded videos, thumbnails, descriptions, comments and likes/dislikes or subscriptions.
• Technical data — the web server keeps short log files (IP address, browser, time and requested resources) needed to secure and operate the site.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process data to provide the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to operate the platform securely and to guard against abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and wherever you have given consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We do not carry out profiling or behavioural advertising.

4. Processors and third parties

Everything runs on your own server. We use no third-party CDNs, no advertising networks, no analytics tools and no tracking services, and we never sell or share your data.

5. Cookies

Only strictly necessary cookies are set. Please see our Cookie Policy for details and how to control them.

6. Retention

Data is kept only as long as it is needed for the service and the purpose it was collected for. You can delete content you uploaded and close your account at any time.

7. Security

We use transport encryption where your hosting provides it, store passwords as secure hashes, and validate uploads. Nevertheless, no method of transmission or storage is 100 % secure.
